IN THE FIELD SINCE 1995

Used in a USDA meat plant before HACCP was federally required.

Alpha Meat Packing was HACCP-compliant four years before the 1996 Mega Reg required it — and Brite Belt was part of that sanitation program from the beginning.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Food processing FAQ

Does Brite Belt work during production or only during sanitation?
Brite Belt is designed for use during sanitation downtime, not during active production.
We already have a steamer. Do we still need Brite Belt?
Yes — steamers kill pathogens but don't remove biofilm. Brite Belt removes biofilm mechanically, making your existing system more effective.
Is Brite Belt compatible with our existing chemicals?
The food-grade polyethylene housing is compatible with acid quats, caustics, chlorine, QAS, PAA, and Sterilex PerQuat.
Is Brite Belt LGMA compliant?
Brite Belt is listed by name in Western Growers Appendix S (2025) as the recommended conveyor belt scrubber for leafy green compliance.
