What is the difference between the Standard Scrubber and the BRICK?
The Standard Scrubber has a 22-inch footprint and comes in fixed widths of 6, 8, 12, and 16 inches. The BRICK is a heavy-duty version with a smaller 6-inch footprint and integrated brushes on the leading and trailing edges to penetrate crevices and link belts. The BRICK can also be custom-built to any belt width from 4 to 96 inches.
What types of conveyor belts can the system clean?
The system is designed for polyethylene, plastic, neoprene, modular link, stainless steel, and stainless wire belt surfaces. The non-abrasive pads clean without scratching or damaging the belt.
Will the pads damage my conveyor belts?
No. The pads are made from a polyfiber material that contains no aluminum or pumice. They remove biofilm and organic soils without scarring or damaging belt surfaces.
What cleaning solutions can be used?
The units are made from food-grade polyethylene and are compatible with acid quats, caustics, chlorine, QAS, and PAA. They can handle any temperature cleaning solution, including boiling water.
Can I move one scrubber unit between multiple conveyor belts?
No. Each unit should be assigned to a specific belt and clearly labeled to support traceability and prevent cross-contamination.
